# Strategy Examples

> Ways to quote on Hadron, from the curves to the fills

Every Hadron quote is `midprice × price_curve × inventory_curve × spread`. Each example below sets
the curves, then shows the fills. All examples use SOL/USDC around \$150 and leave out the Hadron
fee.

## 1. Quote around the oracle

A flat 10 bps price curve and no inventory skew. Your quotes sit 10 bps either side of the
oracle at every size and move when the oracle does.

## 2. Skew with your inventory

The same flat price curve, plus an inventory curve in % mode. Still quotes around your oracle!

Larger trades move your inventory further, so they see more of the skew.

## 3. A book that refills

A stateful price curve and no inventory curve. Read it as your ask ladder: \$2k at 5 bps, a ramp to
25 bps out to \$6k, then \$6k at 35 bps.

Each buy lifts that size off the ladder, so the next buy starts where the last one stopped.

You don't repost: **the book refills \$300 every slot** (0.4 s), so an empty \$12k book is full again in
about 16 seconds. Your crank can also refill it right away, for example after a midprice update.

## 4. Switch strategies instantly

Store a calm curve and a volatile curve as prefabs, then switch between them with one instruction
(about 50 CU). Use it to widen into news or a volatile session, and tighten again afterwards. See
[Prefabs](/toxic-cliw-copied-1.md) under Advanced Features.

## 5. Price flow by source

A flat 8 bps price curve, plus spread triggers. The same 10 SOL buy pays more from a known arbitrage
wallet and less through a partner frontend that co-signs its trades.

## Mix and match

Any price curve works with any inventory curve. For example, you could run a refilling book that also
skews with inventory, or a size ladder with a wide flat tail. Contact us if you'd like help designing
one.
