You can set up a pool from the dashboard or with the SDK (TypeScript or Rust). A common setup is to design curves in the dashboard and send price updates from your own crank. For an example crank, see hadron-cli.

1. Create the pool

Create it from dashboard.hadron.fi/create or the SDK quickstart. New pools start in RejectSwaps, so nothing can trade until you turn it on.

2. Assign the keys

Keep the pool authority cold (a hardware wallet or multisig), give your crank a separate quoting key, and set a pause key your alerting can reach. See Running your pool.

3. Fund it and set your curves

Deposit both tokens and set your price and inventory curves. The dashboard’s curve editor shows each curve as you build it. See How Hadron prices a trade and Strategy examples.

4. Start pushing prices

Have your crank send midprice updates. See Landing price updates.

5. Set your risk controls

Set a staleness limit, the drawdown guard and the factor clamp. All three are off or neutral by default. See Risk controls.

6. Go live

Set the pool to Initialized from the dashboard’s Manage page or the SDK. Routers can take up to 30 minutes to start sending flow. See Routing and flow segmentation. Want different prices for different flow? Send us your pool authority wallet so we can allowlist it for a spread config.
